When you think you know what it is all about, along comes an experience that changes your perspective again. Trekking through the Australian Bush, I didn't even realize existed in my very own backyard. Away from the Hustle and bustle, from concrete and 24 hr lights, from social media and the constantly being connected to a darker web, from clocking on and clocking off, from walking the line and being in this together and feeling more lost and searching for a meaning and a purpose, to a reconnection to Mother Nature, to earth and and the realization we are probably chasing the wrong things. From the crunching foot steps on sandy and rocky paths, and gentle buzz of happy voices, to the slow gentle wind rustling the leaves on the trees and then dying down and the silence behind it, and the thought that crossed my mind, I can hear the ancestors whispering. From the rocky outcrop, seated and drinking in the surrounds, seeing the landscape, so Australian and picturesque, changing from being in bright sun to growing shadowy in the setting sun. The quiet time of meditation, not just quietening the mind, but filling the body with fresh air, and in the silence reconnecting to our true spirit, one that we loose in the normal daily grind. One that I can so easily conjure up in my mind's eye, and feel the gently wind caressing my face. This is why I keep going back to Vee and her teachings. Because there is so much more to it than just a yoga class and a teacher. Do yourself a favor. The only way to fly and learn, is to loose sight of the shore, Peace, love and happiness. The rest is all bratwurst. Trust me.
